Deployment profiles

• OMG UML 2.5.1: deployment diagrams model nodes, artifacts, deployment specifications, and communication paths. Use those terms when the audience expects UML semantics.
• C4 deployment diagrams: C4 uses deployment views to show how software is deployed to infrastructure in a particular environment, often with instances and technology details.
• NwDiag: network-focused diagrams can show network segments and hosts, but are not a substitute for application artifact placement.

Choose the least expressive renderer that preserves the story. A renderer’s visual similarity to UML or C4 does not establish standards conformance.
