1# Ripple Effect23Place digits into irregular cages so each cage contains `1..n` exactly once, and matching digits stay outside each other’s ripple distance.4567## How to Play89Each outlined cage must contain the digits `1..n` exactly once, where `n` is10that cage's size. Matching digits also create a "ripple" that blocks the next11`n-1` cells in the same row and column from containing the same value.1213Given cells are fixed. The puzzle is solved when every cell is filled and both14the cage and ripple rules are satisfied.1516## Controls1718| Key | Action |19|-----|--------|20| Arrow keys / WASD / hjkl | Move cursor |21| `1`-`9` | Place number |22| `Backspace` / `Delete` | Clear cell |23| `Ctrl+R` | Reset puzzle |24| `Ctrl+H` | Toggle full help |25| `Escape` | Return to main menu |2627## Modes2829| Mode | Size | Notes |30|------|------|-------|31| Mini 5x5 | 5x5 | Compact cages with extra anchors |32| Easy 6x6 | 6x6 | Steady clues and approachable spacing |33| Medium 7x7 | 7x7 | Mixed cage shapes with sparser anchors |34| Hard 8x8 | 8x8 | Longer cages with sparse anchors and wider scans |35| Expert 9x9 | 9x9 | Winding large cages with global ripple deductions |3637## Quick Start3839```bash40puzzletea new ripple-effect41puzzletea new ripple "Medium 7x7"42puzzletea new ripple-effect "Hard 8x8" --with-seed sample-seed43```
