User report: cores rendered offset from their shells while physics was true-centered. thickness=0.2 told transmission the marble is solid glass its full diameter deep — refraction displaced the core's virtual image off-center (drifting with the camera). A thin-shell thickness (0.03, ior 1.45) keeps the core image concentric; verified zoomed-in on #meow.
